Anti-Bacterial Drug


    Zithromax is a powerful anti-bacterial drug that is most commonly prescribed for conditions such as pneumonia, sinusitis, chlamydia, and ear infections. The full name for the drug is azithromycin, and it can be quite effective against harmful bacteria in the skin. Recently Zithromax has been adapted for use against adult acne, and while it is effective against all forms of acne, it is generally reserved for the more severe types.  Zithromax is a popular anti-bacterial drug developed by Pfizer, the highly-popular pharmaceutical company known for making Viagra and a wealth of other products. Pfizer is a well-established company that received an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. There are generally 2 types of acne treatments: prescriptions and non-prescriptions. The non-prescription treatment systems are usually topically applied and do not contain strong chemicals, and are generally not as effective. The prescription treatments out there are strong enough to require permission from a doctor, which can make them very effective against moderate to severe forms of acne. Zithromax is a prescription medication that recently has been adapted to use for acne. This review will cover Zithromax and how it is employed against acne.

   Zithromax is only available via a doctor's prescription (it can also be ordered from online pharmacies).  Zithromax appears to be effective against acne.  Users report that Zithromax does a good job of clearing up their acne, which is more than several acne treatments out there can say. The downsides are the potential side effects of Zithromax. It is a powerful anti-bacterial drug; as such, users could experience side effects such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headaches. It can also interfere with birth control if taken at the same time. Zithromax, in conclusion, could be a powerful tool to use against acne, but the individual user will have to try it out for themselves to be sure.
